Disease testing. Our herd tests negative for CAE, CL, Johne’s, Brucellosis, and Q-Fever. We have tested annually since March 2006, and started our herd in November of 2005. We test annually for CAE. See our test results at this link.
G6S. Our entire herd is G6S Normal, either by direct blood test or by parentage. Click here to learn more about G6S.
Alpha S1 Casein. We also test our breeding herd for Alpha S1 Casein type, which indicates if the animal genetically produces more casein or less. The results are listed on each animals page and also below in their section. Click here to learn more about Alpha S1 Casein.
