DIY X-Ceptic tincture

I avoid the use of chemicals at our farm.  I bet there are those of you that may be interested in what I use proactively for cuts, scrapes, and other wounds.  I use X-Ceptic formula. Below I will describe how I prepare the herbs for use with my animals.

Click here to read more about the X-Ceptic formula.  Click here to enter the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) category on my store that helps you with the herbs required to make X-Ceptic mix, if you desire. Our DIY X-Ceptic Kit makes your purchase quick and simple AND we discount the herbs that are in the kits, so it is the most affordable way to buy them for your DIY project!

Ingredients:
White Oak bark
Goldenseal root
Garlic
Comfrey root
Myrrh gum
Cayenne (40,000 hu potency)

I definitely want to avoid using chemicals on the umbilical cord of a newborn.  This is what I use instead of 7% Iodine, since iodine is damaging to tissue.

X-Ceptic Tincture Naval Dip

1/4 cup of X-Ceptic herb mix
3/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar (raw and unfiltered)
1/4 cup 100 proof Vodka (this extracts the resins in Myrrh.  You can try all ACV if you would like)

Put them together in a jar with a tight fitting lid and mix well.

Shake this tincture 2-3 times each day for 2 weeks.

After at least 2 weeks, filter your tincture through a thin cotton cloth. KEEP THE LIQUID and discard the herbs that you filtered out.

LABEL THE JAR with the contents and the date. Tada!! YOU MADE A HEALTHY, WHOLESOME, NOURISHING, VERY EFFECTIVE NAVAL DIP! YOU ROCK!!

NOTE:  This extract is available premade through our store, click here.  We are using a 1:4 ratio for this recipe, but Dr. Christopher’s premade X-Ceptic Extract is made 4:1 ratio, which means that they use 4 parts herb to 1 part menstruum (that is the liquid base).  This is VERY strong, which is fantastic!  They only use certified organic alcohol to avoid GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms).
