   I’ve been fighting barber pole worms for years and have lost countless goats to it, mostly bucks. I’ve used different herbal wormers and every chemical wormer out there. Once I see the signs, sudden massive weight loss, diarrhea, and anemia, I’ve never been able to save them until now. I had a buck come down with bp this fall and followed the strict acute Parasite Formula protocol and he survived! We’re still working on getting his weight and FAMACHA back up (just need to fill in around his spine and hips). All my goats are now on the weekly maintenance dose which I mix with water and dose individually with a drenching syringe, and extra during the full moon. So far everyone else has good FAMACHA when before it was “normal” for my herd to have mid-low scores. The real test will be next fall when I always have at least one die from bp.

   Wow!! I finally found a natural treatment for tapeworms, that actually works. I have used everything for my chickens to get this issue under control. With help from Kristie this parasite formula really works. Thank you so much.

   Recent fecal results show how amazing this product is!! Living in Central Texas we get a lot of crazy weather, hot humid and wet! Barberpole is a real danger for us. But all I am seeing is red famachas and clean fecals!! Love this product!!

   I’ve used this product for three years. I’ve never had a parasite issue. But this year we had a perfect storm that landed us smack in the middle of a parasite overload with dreaded barber pole and some tape worm issue. I emailed Kristie and she faithfully hung in there with me as we worked through my herd (35 head) she expertly tweeked my protocol, shipped my bags of parasite formula quickly, and after a pretty ugly battle we are swinging to the high side of things finally. It’s taken diligence, and patience, but this herbal parasite protocol works, even in acute situations of over load, if you will stay after it, and it means dosing heavy and often, you CAN beat these awful barber pole back herbally. LOH parasite formula is amazing as it kills the parasites AND it heals the damage the parasites leave behind!!! All the while boosting their immune systems. There aren’t enough words to say how good this stuff is. I’m so grateful to have this in my herbal kit!!

   I just wanted to share we have had two fecals done at random this summer and both times everyone was clean. Im super happy with LOH parasite formula which we give weekly. We also give DoTerra Ess. oil once a week on different days of the herbs during peek worm season and any time we need a boost in our protocol. Thank you Kristie for always coming through for us!! Now time to order a new bag : )

   I just placed another order for this herbal wormer. I bought it a few months back to use with a three year old doe I had just purchased. I’ve always used an herbal tincture with my herd and never had any problems with worms but, earlier this year I bought Tauriel, who had recently had a cesarean and I’m guessing she was on antibiotics afterwards to prevent infection because that’s the only thing I can think of that is different with her than the others. The herbal tincture did not work for her at all!!

   I had taken a fecal sample to the vet twice and both times they said she was loaded with worms and Coccidiosis. They put her on SafeGaurd, Corid and Thiamine shots twice in the span of two months. Each time was worse than before……it was awful and I hated the thought of doing all that again when she got sick again in a month. I told the vet I felt sure she would be sick again in less than a month and I was very worried she wouldn’t make it another round she was so weak and thin. But they just said that we would have to deal with it then:o( I was not going to be satisfied with that!!! I love this little doe and was going to do everything in my power to keep her from getting Coccidiosis again!!!

   I went to searching for a wormer that might help her and I ran across this website:o)

   I’m so, so happy to say Tauriel is doing wonderfully!! She has stopped eating everything in sight and has even gained some weight back. I couldn’t be happier!! It’s now been two months and she’s still doing amazingly well with no episodes of Coccidiosis!

   I have been using Kristie’s herbal formula for well over a year now. We have 3 fainting goats, Remi 2- 1/2 years old, and twins, Chester and Elli who are 22 months old. I used it as directed, and top dressed feed, took a while to get the goats to eat it, and as per Kristie’s helpful advice, I started out just putting a tiny bit on their food, and over a course of a few weeks, gave them a little more and more till they were getting the proper dose. While I felt initially that it helped in reducing the amount of times our goats got a parasite overload, it wasn’t doing quite the trick with my one goat, especially. He’s always been more prone to parasites, and is more of a high maintenance kind of guy! After he had a high barberpole count this spring I decided to change tactics. I started making an herb ball, so I knew how much each goat was actually getting. After consulting with Kristie once again, I doubled the dosage of the balls (normally I gave them 1/2tsp of herbs top dress, per goat, and the balls have 1tsp, per ball. I call them PB wormer balls (about 12oz of Peanut butter, about 3T honey, 3T powdered herbs, and about 1 c rolled oats, enough to make a stiff enough dough to shape into 9 balls- each goat gets one a day for 3 days of the week). I make these for our goats every week now. This way we know how much they are each getting. For the summer months we gave the balls 3 days a week, and 3 other days a week gave just the 1/2tsp on the feed, saving Sunday as a no herb “Sabbath” day. Worked great. The goats eat these like I eat a chocolate covered pretzel (though I have more manners and don’t try to eat other people’s chocolate out of their mouths ) The amazing part is since I started making these delectable (to goats) treats I have not had to chemically worm Chester! Made it through an amazingly hot and humid summer with not a single parasite issue! For the record, Elli has not had a chemical wormer since she was a baby (she’s 20 months old now) and I wormed all 3 goats at the same time (before I had my own microscope and treated them individually) I started them on the herbs when the twins were about 3 months old. Remi has not been chemically wormed in a whole year! I am not always into alternative stuff, as often I do not see the results, but this, this I see, and am amazed by. It’s not for every goat owner as it’s kind of expensive and time consuming… but for us, it’s perfect. This fall I backed off of the topdressing of feed and just do the herb balls, and this winter I think I will try cutting the dosage back to the normal amount per goat in the balls, and see how things go, running a fecal in late Dec/Early Jan. Our goats have been so healthy, parasite free (internal and external) and happy little things! Thank you Kristie for a great product and for all the research you did to make this possible!

   We love this product!! We administer it as a tea in their water buckets. Because I have a large herd, this is the best option. Had fecals done in August, and we had a couple of does come back with moderate to heavy coccidia and moderate strongyles. I immediately began using the formula as tea added to their water tank. In order to get the ginger/garlic paste into all of them, I mixed 1-2 cloves of garlic per animal along with a similar size chunk of ginger per animal, then I added carrots, kelp, and nettle leaf. Ran it in the food processor and put it in feed pans in the pasture. Naturally, they gobbled it right up. I felt like the herbs were working, as I noticed the goats with the parasites were looking better. When I was finally able to get follow-up fecals done in October, all of the previously tested animals were either negative for all internal parasite or had few coccidia! I am so happy to see this and will continue using LOH PF to treat my goat herd! I’m also using the tea in my chicken water. The dogs get the PF sprinkled on their food and stirred in with a little goat milk. Thanks, Kristie, for a fabulous product, free shipping, and your invaluable assistance! My vet seemed a bit surprised that your herbal formula worked so well, but I was not!

    I have been using the parasite formula for a couple years now for my herd…the best part is clean fecals (of course), no resistance to the formula, the ease of getting my goats to take it and it covers coccidia as well as other parasites. I cannot imagine switching to anything else!!

    I chose Land of Havilah herbal wormer mainly because it seemed simple to administer (one formula that covers a broad range of parasites) and also because I liked the description of the herbs used. I wanted the best-quality herbs for the best possible results.

    I got serious about using the wormer while I was goat-sitting for an acquaintance. She was a mama in milk with her 5-week-old baby, and the owner had used a chemical wormer soon after the baby’s birth. She arrived with dog-poo-like poops, and pale eyelids. Guess the chemical wormer didn’t work! I started her on LOH parasite formula, but since I live on a different property, could only give it twice a day. So I gave her double, and sometimes quadruple doses, whenever I saw her. It was a long road with her, because she was not in the best of health or condition to begin with, and because I was not able to do the acute dosing properly. Her poo did gradually firm up, though, and her eyelid color came back after about 3 weeks of treatment. She went home a week after that, with a care package of some herbal wormer for her owner to continue. The owner wanted to know how I got her to fill out so nicely!

    Now, I had foolishly put this outside goat and baby in with my own mama goat and 3-month-old kid, with no quarantine, partially to make milking easier. Well, soon after the outside goat’s arrival, my mama goat started getting pale eyelids too! Those frisky babies obviously tracked contaminated poo everywhere, and now my mama goat was infected too! I treated her right alongside the other mama, and her eyelid color gradually came back up too. I treated both babies as well to cover my bases, and also as cocci prevention.

    In a different pen, I recently had a yearling doe get loose poos, with what looked like tapeworm segments in it. I immediately started treating her, and all of my other goats, with LOH, and her poo immediately firmed up, and after a few days, no more tapeworm segments.

    Since the tapeworm episode, I have been using the LOH formula regularly for all of my goats. They all have nice pink eyelids, and the short-haired ones now have the smoothest, softest, shiniest coats! I saw the difference in their coats within a few weeks of starting to use the LOH regularly; it was really amazing. They weren’t in bad shape before, but now, they just gleam!

    One other time I saw these herbs in action, was when I purchased 10-week-old-old buckling and brought him home. My girls were so mean to him, he was separated from his mom and friends, and being weaned cold-turkey, all at once. He was so stressed and cried for days. I will never bring home a single kid again. Anyway, he gradually developed loose poos and then diarrhea, probably cocci took hold during this stressful time. I started dosing him daily with LOH, mixed with a little fresh goat milk in a drenching syringe, and the diarrhea cleared up almost from the very first dose. I think the bit of milk also comforted him.

    I would like to get fecals done to confirm what I am seeing and feeling about using these herbs, and will report back if I do get it together to collect and send those in!

    I use this formula for goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys and dogs. With my critters I dose with the moon cycle. Every full moon they receive a dose the day before, day of and day after the full moon. I’m faithful to do this monthly and check eye lids for anemia. Occasionally if we have many days of rain, I will give an additional dose between the monthly full moon dosing.
    In late March I had a first freshening doe who kidded quads. She delivered unassisted but with a delay between two sets of kids and then had a delay delivering her placenta. When I took her to the vet as a precaution I also had them run a fecal count. They called a few days later and told me that she had an epg of 500 for strongyles and a high cocci count. I immediately started her on a double dosing of this formula and the following day, after her second dose of double dosing I collected samples from each of my adult goats to make sure we were not having a problem. Prior to that fecal count, we had our highest count of only 87 epg in 15 months so I was very worried.

    The epg came back on this same doe as 34. And no cocci. After only two doses of double dosing. I was so shocked and pleased. I did continue a double dose for five consecutive days and am currently treating the entire herd with at least once weekly dosing to make sure we get over the “hump” safely but so far everything looks good and I’ve never used a chemical deworming product.

    Thanks Kristie for such a wonderful product. I love knowing that I’m supporting my goats entire well-being rather than just killing off parasites and compromising immune systems with chemicals.

    I purchased LOH Parasite Formula for the first time 3 weeks ago and have since been giving it to my dairy goat herd.
    I learned, the hard way, last Spring that my newly purchased farm had Barber Pole. After much research on how to treat this killer I gave the herd, over several months, a Copper Bolus, Levamisole, Sheep Cydectin and finally an herbal mix from a popular goat book. I gave much supportive care and unfortunately buried many of the goats that got it. The oldest and the youngest were the first to succumb.
    I thought after all my research and preparedness I could beat it this Spring. Just as the grass started growing I placed my cows in the field and let them eat the new grass for 3 weeks. Then I gave each goat a Copper Bolus and then shortly after putting them on that field I gave them Sheep Cydectin. It didn’t take long for me to realize the Barber Pole was back, my plan didn’t work, and most of my lactating does had it. They started losing weight and their eye lids got pale. Panic set in.
    My neighbor told me about finding LOH on line and thought the Parasite Formula looked promising. I purchased it and started administering it the very day it arrived. I chose to top dress it because my goats are use to herbs and like the taste.
    After one day of treatment one of the does got diarrhea immediately due to a worm overload. I emailed Kristie (LOH) who responded very quickly and suggested I give another dose but doubled along with slippery elm, charcoal, ginger and garlic. The doe responded and the diarrhea stopped. Repeated this when second doe got diarrhea. No other goat got the diarrhea. One of the most amazing things I saw in the 2 sick girls was they didn’t act sick. Goats with severe diarrhea stand away from the herd, get droopy, refuse feed etc. These 2 did not. The Parasite Formula supported their rumen as they fought the killing of the offending worm. After the initial 7 day @ 2x’s a day treatment I could already tell things were turning around. It’s been a little over 3 weeks and the goats are all putting weight back on and their lids are pinking up. The shine in their coats is also back. An added plus…the horrible flies that love to bite my cows and goats are leaving the goats alone.
    I’m very thankful my neighbor had the wisdom to spot a superior site and introduce it to me.

    I have been using the LOH parasite formula for goats and chickens for several years. I currently raise over 3 dozen chickens for eggs, chicks and meat, and since I butcher occasionally it gives me a chance to check their intestines for worms. For years we have battled tapeworms, which I can see inside the birds and also the worm eggs on their poop. The chickens get repeatedly reinfected as they free range, since snails and insects can harbor tapeworm eggs. We don’t use any chemicals with our birds, but even chemical dewormers would have to be used regularly to control tapeworms – plus they require discarding eggs for weeks each time and are not safe if breeding or eating the meat. Not to mention the trouble it takes individually dosing.

    I have tried to manage the tapeworms by offering chopped garlic, and herbs such as cayenne, wormwood or wormseed, and these have not visibly expelled tapeworms. But when I put garlic, ginger, apple cider vinegar and other seeds (for taste such as sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, wheat germ, etc) in the food processor, and then mix in an ample dose of LOH Parasite Formula as listed on the package, I have seen live worms expelled in their night poops. Sometimes I have to do this several days in a row, but nothing else I have tried will get them out! Tapeworms are notoriously difficult to get to detach from the intestines, and although they don’t usually kill the chickens, they take nutrition from them, so I want them out! There are no side effects or need to discard eggs using the LOH parasite formula. I do this regularly, starting with newly hatched chicks, adding the garlic and Parasite formula mash to their starter feed almost daily. They enjoy great health and I know it is effective because I can see the difference. I will also try making it as a tea, but so far the mash works great and I like to get creative, adding the seeds and ingredients such as kelp to it. There are likely other ways to give it to chickens, but this is simple and when I see those worms have come out, I am so happy.
