“Sonya” is our 2007 baby that we kept for our herd. She is a 3 year old Recorded Grade (50% American) Nubian. Sonya is long, level and tall, *B Starcrosst Gabriel is her sire, and we were so pleased with her that we retained her for our herd.
She has strong “milking” and “show ring” bloodlines behind her – including 3 ELITE BUCKS:

2010: Sonya was awarded her *M (milk star) in all three categories (Milk, Butterfat and Protein) her first year on DHIR, she earned this honor on her *M on her 11/30/2010 milk test! 😀
Sonya earned her SG (Superior Genetics) status on 11/30/2010! This award was earned her first year on DHIR testing.
She is #2 on the 2010 Michigan DHIA Honor Roll. 🙂 With a 291 day record (she was still milking on her 2010 lactation at that time, so we did not have the 305 day numbers yet) of 2687# in Milk, 106# in Butterfat, and 87# in Protein! I’m so proud of her!! This award was earned her first year on DHIR testing!
