I kept Clarity and her littermate sister, Tranquility. I’m excited to see them freshen this year (2026). There momma, Land of Havilah Only Imagine 4*M<\/a> (aka Hershey) has a chance of hitting the ADGA Top Ten Breed Leader list in the butterfat category for 2024! She is an AMAZING doe and these two daughters are absolutely lovely! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2026:<\/strong> Michigan isn\u2019t on the list for appraisals this year, so I scheduled a Classification through the American Goat Society in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AGS Classification Scores<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We also participate in the American Goat Society\u2019s Classification program<\/a>. In classification, an animal is given a final percentage score based on 100 being perfect. In addition, each area of the animal is evaluated and assigned points based on how close that part comes to being ideal. For example, if an animal is given four (4) points out of the allotted five (5) on teats, that is 80%, and the owner knows that the teats on that animal are only 80% of the ideal. The Classifier inputs the score of each area of the body into an app on their phone. After they finish, the program calculates the final score, which the Classifier tells you right away. AGS sends you the score breakdown via email within a day or two, but I had my score breakdown much faster than that. The following pdf is the score breakdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kinetic is a much anticipated cross between\u00a0Land of Havilah ML Lilly 4*M<\/a>\u00a0and \u00a0++*B SG Goldthwaite Bootonniere<\/a>. He is everything that I had hoped for and more! His first kids are just hitting the ground in 2024 \u2013 they are stunning and consistent in type! His daughter,\u00a0Protege<\/a>, won her Junior Champion leg her very first time out to a show in 2025. His first daughters (including Protege) will be freshening in 2026, and Taffeta is one of the first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Land of Havilah Only Imagine 5*M<\/a>. She is affectionately known as \u201cHershey\u201d in the herd, as she was born in our candy bar theme year for barn names and Hershey stuck. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hershey is out of an excellent cross of our lines with the AI sire we used in 2016 (Kaitai). Hershey is wide bodied and holds her weight and lactation very well without a large amount of grain. Her legs have correct balance and are straight both from the front and the side view. Her udder is socked on tight, and she is very easy to milk. She is sweet natured and patient, which has made her a favorite with our family. She is also an excellent momma.<\/p>\n\n\n
